In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Working in a team to design and develop error correcting decoders for different types of communication protocols, among others Reed Solomon* and Viterbi* decoders - Minimizing power consumption and area with different simulation tools - Optimizing the decoder to handle high speed broadband and make it compatible with different communication standards at very low areas and power consumption
Qualifications
You should be a student currently studying in the field of Electronics Systems with more than one year of experience. Additional qualifications include: - Knowledge or skills in either programming in Matlab* or C - Knowledge or skills in either Very High-level Design Language (VHDL), Verilog*, or simulation tools - Knowledge or skills in digital communication systems - Bilingual (English) - Good problem solving, communication and presentation skills - Ability to work concurrently with cross-functional and international teams and hence heavy emphasis on teamwork
